IC Companys: Focus on Strategy Execution
Between fall 2007 and spring 2008, IC Companys, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based fashion-design company, launched an Leadership Academy for its management team in Denmark, Turkey, and Romania. Included in the training were 360-degree profiles of leaders, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and the 4 Disciplines of Execution. After establishing lead and lag measures and holding weeking WIG (Wildly Important Goals) meetings, sales in one division exceeded expectations in Denmark by approximately 123 percent, and the IT Department was able to to eliminate "a big pile" of delayed projects. InSights in Charlotte County Schools
the 2500 employees of Charlotte County Florida Public Schools are spread over 21 campuses. The geographic distance as well as budget limitations made it difficult for employees to keep up to date on training initiatives, particularly the 7 Habits refresher courses the schools provided. So, in 2010, the schools adopted InSights online training to complement the live training already underway.
